This Privacy Policy describes how MeccaChef, LLC, Glen Head, NY 11545, handles information when customers use MeccaChef.com or the MeccaChef service.

Information collected

We may collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing and delivery addresses, ZIP codes, order and subscription information, delivery access instructions, customer support communications, and website activity. Complete payment card numbers are processed by the payment provider rather than stored by MeccaChef.

Use and sharing

Information may be used to process subscriptions, confirm delivery eligibility, maintain the delivery waitlist, send requested availability notifications, coordinate fulfillment, deliver orders, communicate with customers, provide support, prevent fraud, improve the service, and meet legal obligations. Limited information may be shared with payment, fulfillment, delivery, hosting, analytics, security, email, and other service providers only as reasonably necessary to perform services for MeccaChef.

Phone and text communications

Order phone numbers may be used for transactional delivery, payment, security, or support messages. Marketing texts require a separate optional consent and will include applicable message frequency, carrier charge, STOP, and HELP disclosures. Marketing text consent is not a condition of purchase.

Cookies, analytics, referral attribution, and feedback

The website may use cookies, browser storage, analytics tools, and advertising pixels to operate the site, understand traffic, improve performance, and measure marketing. MeccaChef uses Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate page activity and interaction patterns such as page visits, clicks, scrolling, device or browser characteristics, and site performance. Sensitive form inputs are masked from Clarity. When a visitor enters through a tagged referral link, MeccaChef may remember the referral source for a limited attribution period and use a randomly generated browser identifier to count aggregate visits and unique browsers without storing payment card data in the referral analytics system. Referral source may also be attached to an order so MeccaChef can measure paid orders, attributed revenue, and campaign conversion. The optional website poll stores anonymous response choices together with limited non-sensitive marketing attribution such as referral source, page path, and UTM campaign parameters. Poll records are not designed to include names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment card information, or religious identity.

Security and retention

MeccaChef uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information maintained and retains information only as reasonably necessary for service, accounting, legal, security, dispute, and fraud prevention purposes.

These Terms govern use of MeccaChef.com and purchases from MeccaChef, LLC, Glen Head, NY 11545.

Service and price

MeccaChef offers a recurring weekly grocery box at $75 per box per week, plus applicable tax if any, with one scheduled weekend delivery included and no minimum commitment. Customers may select more than one box for the same subscription and delivery address.

Billing and cutoff

The Weekly Box renews weekly according to the subscription schedule shown at checkout and in the customer portal. Friday at 11:59 PM Eastern Time closes orders for the delivery weekend beginning 8 days later. Orders received after the cutoff are assigned to the next available weekend.

Cancellation

Customers who subscribe online can cancel online through the Stripe customer portal. Cancel before the next renewal to stop future subscription charges. An order already paid for or already in fulfillment may still be delivered, subject to the Refund and Order Issue Policy.

Allergies

The launch service is not designed for customers with severe or life threatening food allergies. Delivery notes are for building access and delivery instructions and should not be used to communicate dietary or allergy requirements.

Substitutions

Brands, sizes, or comparable grocery items may change with availability. Halal status is not a substitutable attribute for any item represented by MeccaChef as halal.

Assignment

MeccaChef may assign these Terms or transfer service responsibilities in connection with a reorganization, sale, financing, change of fulfillment provider, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

Law and liability

These Terms are governed by New York law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeccaChef disclaims implied warranties that may lawfully be disclaimed and excludes indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages. Nothing limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived.

The MeccaChef Weekly Box has no minimum commitment and renews weekly until canceled.

Billing and delivery cycle

The Weekly Box is $75 per box, billed weekly, plus applicable tax if any. Customers may select more than one box for the same subscription and delivery address. The recurring billing schedule is displayed at Stripe checkout and in the customer portal. Friday at 11:59 PM Eastern Time closes orders for the delivery weekend beginning 8 days later; orders after cutoff roll to the next available weekend.

Online cancellation

Online customers can use the Stripe customer portal to manage billing details and cancel future renewals without calling MeccaChef. Email support remains available for assistance.

Failed payments

If a recurring payment fails, Stripe may retry payment and send payment notices according to the account's configured billing settings. Fulfillment may be paused if payment cannot be completed.

Material changes

Price increases and other material subscription changes will be communicated within the notice period required by applicable law before they take effect.

Holiday weeks and moves

Customers will not be charged for a delivery week MeccaChef elects not to provide. If a delivery address moves outside the supported area, future deliveries may be paused or canceled.

Manage subscription

Delivery is limited to supported residential ZIP codes and active routes. One scheduled weekend delivery is included with each weekly order.

Weekly cutoff

The first launch cutoff is Friday, September 18, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time for the September 26 delivery. Future weekly cutoffs occur Friday at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. An order completed after a cutoff is assigned to the next available delivery cycle.

Additional same week delivery

Where available, an additional separate delivery during the same week requires another $75 box order plus an additional delivery charge based on the delivery area. The additional delivery charge is disclosed and confirmed before the extra delivery is scheduled.

Flagged addresses

Some covered ZIP codes require address or access confirmation before checkout. The customer will not be sent into paid checkout until route access is confirmed.

Perishable retrieval

Customers should bring groceries inside promptly after delivery and refrigerate or freeze perishable items as appropriate.

Unattended delivery

If a customer authorizes an unattended delivery, groceries should be retrieved promptly and stored safely. Perishable items should not remain unrefrigerated for more than 2 hours when temperatures are below 90°F, or more than 1 hour when temperatures exceed 90°F.

Substitution rule

Halal status is not a substitutable product attribute. If an item is represented as halal, a substitute must have halal status that can be affirmatively verified using the applicable certification or sourcing basis. If an appropriate halal substitute cannot be verified, the item is omitted and credited or refunded.

Perishable issues

Report missing, materially damaged, spoiled on delivery, incorrect, or temperature affected perishable items within 48 hours of delivery.

Shelf stable issues

Report missing, materially damaged, or incorrect shelf stable items within 7 days.

Documentation

MeccaChef may request a photo or package label where reasonably useful. A photo is not an absolute condition when an issue can otherwise be verified.

Resolution and timing

Possible resolutions include an item refund, credit, replacement, or another reasonable resolution. Approved refunds are generally initiated to the original payment method within 5 business days, with additional bank processing time possible.

Orders already in fulfillment

An order already paid for and already in fulfillment is generally not refundable solely because the customer no longer wants it. Legitimate quality, delivery, missing item, or fulfillment claims remain covered.

MeccaChef separates facility certification, supplier certification, and product level verification so customers can understand what each certification actually covers.

Packing facility

Documentation provided for the packing facility identifies American Halal Foundation, reference HPFR 7395 CH. This facility certification is presented separately from product and supplier certification.

Protein suppliers

Supplier and product certification information is maintained separately from the packing facility certification and is not treated as interchangeable.

Processed groceries

Processed foods represented as halal are evaluated with attention to ingredients such as gelatin, rennet, enzymes, flavorings, emulsifiers, and other animal derived inputs where relevant.

Substitutions

Halal status is not substitutable. If a halal represented replacement cannot be affirmatively verified on the applicable basis, it is omitted and credited or refunded.

New York filings

Private certification and applicable government registration or disclosure requirements are separate matters.

The site is being built with keyboard access, visible focus states, semantic headings, labeled forms, meaningful image alternatives, readable contrast, understandable errors, and reduced motion support.
